Welcome To Pike's Pen place
In 2013, I was a student in seminary when my professor asked the class if he could borrow a pen. A classmate eagerly ran to the front of the room to present the professor with a generic, black, roller ball pen. My professor scoffed as he condescendingly declared, "That is not a pen, this is a pen!" as he reached into the inside of his blazer, he proudly displayed a beautiful MontBlanc 149! He spent a few moments poetically describing the beauty that is found in a fountain pen. His passion was contagious. I had to have one.
When class ended, I rushed down to the campus store to purchase my first fountain pen: a thirteen dollar, Noodler's Creeper. From that day on, my obsession has only grown.
Although, now I collect and sell mostly vintage fountain pens (particularly Conklin), I will never forget the awe and excitement as I gripped my first fountain pen in my hand.
As my professor opened my eyes to the beauty and splendor of this hobby, it is my hope that I might do the same for others. All items on my site are for sale. I have tried to describe the quality and condition of each pen accurately and honestly. Please contact me by email with any questions that you might have.
From one pen enthusiast to another, enjoy!
